Introducing Breathe for Good: a series of opportunities to bring our Breathe community together while supporting causes that matter.
Our first in-person event is a special Yoga Nidra evening with Mara.
Friday 2 October | 7pm - 8pm
Mara is a certified Yoga Nidra teacher with 10 years of yoga teaching experience, as well as training in restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.
This will be an hour of deep guided rest. No poses, no sequences, just you on the floor, under a blanket, being guided into a state of deep rest. The best possible start to your long weekend.
Mara's brother, Ross, is riding 200km this month to raise funds in memory of their mum. This year marks ten years since they lost her to breast cancer.
Entry is by donation on the evening, with every cent going to cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute.
Bring your mat, warm socks and an eye mask. Bolsters and blankets will be provided.
Spots are limited, book your place below.
Can't make it but would like to support the cause?
Sometimes an hour is enough.
Sometimes we need a little longer.
The Retreats at Breathe Massage & Movement are an invitation to step away from the pace of everyday life and give yourself the time and space to simply be.
These small-group experiences are thoughtfully designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.
Each retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore mindful movement, breath, stillness and self-reflection in a warm and welcoming environment.
Whether you're joining us for a monthly evening retreat or a future day or weekend retreat, every experience is created with the intention of helping you reconnect with yourself in a meaningful and sustainable way.
COMING SOON
Life can feel busy, full and constantly demanding our attention.
Our Monthly Evening Retreat is an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and spend two unhurried hours reconnecting with yourself.
Each retreat explores a different monthly theme inspired by the changing seasons and the rhythm of the new moon, creating space to slow down, reflect and restore.
Every evening is thoughtfully guided and may include:
• Gentle mindful movement
• Breathwork
• Guided mindfulness and meditation
• Journalling
• Quiet reflection
• Group discussion (always optional)
• Herbal tea and nourishing snacks
No two retreats will be exactly the same, allowing each gathering to evolve naturally with its theme.
Whether you're looking to rest, reconnect, gain clarity or simply enjoy a few uninterrupted hours for yourself, you'll be welcomed exactly as you are.
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
When: One Friday evening each month, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Suitable for beginners and anyone seeking a little more space to slow down.
